A Poem from Smith & Hibberd, Grantown on Spey, October 2006 :

We came to relax, enjoy, unwind

At Marvic Cottage we did find

Comfort, one could enjoy and rest

A venue that provided all

That we could wish for in the fall.

Local towns & beauty spots

Plenty interest - lots and lots.

Out thoughts and prayers have been employed

To express our thanks for all enjoyed

Belted Galloways are a hardy breed of cattle that originated on the exposed uplands of Galloway. Colours are black, dun or red, all with characteristic white band which completely encircles the body.
